Sending Women Back to the Stone Age?

October 9, 2008

Response to an email saying that Palin will “send women back to the stone age”.

Palin does a lot for the “women’s movement”. I don’t see supporting abortion as the defining issue of one who sees and appreciates the growth and the accomplishments of women, especially considering abortion was initially pushed on America by supporters of eugenics, though I am pro choice. I see a woman with 5 kids who works her ass off..having career and family, being successful at that, as the ultimate measure of just how far women have come. i actually think it’s quite sexist to say that just because one is pro choice that she isn’t a role model for women. that insults me.

Wait, What?

Palin has experience? no way. I don’t believe it.  I also don’t understand attacking Palin by calling her dumb as opposed to attacking her on something that is based in fact.  Attacks based on nothing have no validity.  Well, that’s not fair; people that lack the ability to think rationaly will find baseless attacks to be emotionally stimulating.
